CARROLLTON BAPTIST CHURCH.
"Hello everyone, I recently created a new group on My Space
called "Carroll Co. Youth". I got the idea from our
"Party at the Gym". I wanted a safe place for the youth to be
able to discuss their issues and questions about God, life or
maybe just helping someone else out by telling them your
story. Because I wanted to keep it restricted to the youth
and leaders, you can only become a member of the group
if you are invited by a member. So if you have a My Space
account, look me up and invite me to be your friend. Using
my e-mail address (jenniferaw22@yahoo.com) should get
you there. THen once you are my friend, I can invite you to
the group. Once you are a member of the group, you can
invite your friends. I have already downloaded the pictures
from the "Party at the Gym" so drop by and check them out.

New church year will begin September 1st. This will
be an exciting time for our youth for we will have
new additions to our ministry team. Please help
us welcome, Mr. Eddie Britt, Mr. Tony Thornton,
and Ms. Phylis to our team. We know we have a
wonderful God, and he takes care of his children
by provided wonderful people who love you more
than you know.

Get to know HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the Light of the world.
He who follows Me shall not walk in the darkness, but have the Light of Life." John 8:12 NKJV
There's really no way around it: If you want to know God, you've got to get to know His Son
And that's good, because getting to know Jesus can and should be the most enriching expreience
of your life.
Can you honestly say that you're really passionate about your faith and that your're really following
Jesus? Hopefully so. But if you're strictly a one-day-a-week Christain then you're in need of a
major-league spiritual makeover.
Jesus doesn't want you to be a lukewarm, or a halfway, beleiver; Jesus wants you to be a
"new creation" through Him. And that's exactly what you should want for yourself, too.
Nothing is more important than your wholehearted commitment to your Creator and to
His only begotten Son. Your faith must never be an afterthought; it must be your ultimate priority,
your ultimate possession, and your ultimate passion.
You are the recipient of Christ's love. Accept it enthusiastically and share it passionately. Jesus deserves
your undivided attention. And when you give it to Him, you'll be forever grateful that you did.
When Jesus endured His sacrifice on the cross, He paid a terrible price for you. What price are you
willing to pay for Him?
